In September we will be opening in a new gallery space located in Calle Lope de Vega, very near to our current gallery and also located in the Barrio de las Artes y las Letras neighbourhood, not more than 300 mts. away from our current location.

The new gallery has 4 exhibition rooms and it is almost double the size as our current gallery. Besides this, we will dedicate one of the rooms (called "Guestroom") to specifically projects developed by emergent artists and for curated exhibitions. 

Our opening show will be on the 9th. of September. We will present "The visitors", the first solo show in Spain of the NY based german artist Dietmar Busse. The show is composed of 25 photographs of artists and starlets of NY which have been portraited by Dietmer when visiting his studio in Manhattan. 

In the begining of September we will provide additional details.

ARANAPOVEDA Gallery will participate in the general program of galleries in the OPTICA FESTIVAL of Videoart that will take place in several locations in Madrid from the 23rd. to the 26th. of Septembre 2010.

We will be presenting on Friday 24 at 18:00h the 2' animation video artwork "The Lovers" by our artist Rosana Antolí in LA CASA ENCENDIDA.

La serie fotográfica POLYSPAM de nuestra artista Cristina de Middel estará presente en el festival fotográfico Images en la ciudad de Vevey (Suiza) que se celebrará del 4 al 26 de Septiembre de 2010 como artista invitada.

Del 12 al 16 de Mayo participaremos en el programa general de galerías de la segunda edición de la Feria MADRIDFOTO que se celebrará en el Palacio de los deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid, en pleno centro de la ciiudad.

Presentaremos la obra de nuestros fotógrafos Cristina de Middel, Javier Arcenillas, Ruggero Rosfer & Shaokun y Dietmar Busse.
