Gloria Herazo`s work is tender and ironic at the same time.
She usually uses as a basis for his paintings old photographs from the 40`s and the 50’ s reflecting the most glamorous side of the Colombian aristocracy of those years.
But as the same time that she shows the happiness and the colourful lifestyle of the privileged, between the lines of her paintings we can distinguish a subtle social critic and intriguing atmosphere that lies under the apparently joyful situations.
